I just got back from my weekly networking meeting and one of the questions that we all had is what is your greatest referral source.
Specifically, what is someone or something that produces the most business for you. I'd like to exclude the internet as well as any other advertising as these are NOT referrals. I am talking about someone picking up the phone or meeting you in person and not just passing information but setting you up for success as well. The kind of business where you walk in the door with instant rapport.
With that in mind, What's YOUR greatest NEW Referral source?
The AHA! from the group for me was PAINTERS! - You don't get your home painted (well most of us) unless you're preparing for something .... possibly a sale! Painters know first and can be an awesome referral source, or so I am told.
If you say, PAST CLIENTS, please use an example of what you did to encourage that person to send business to you OUTSIDE of just a good job.
