Keller Williams beats other national industry players to the punch
According to recent reports from AOL, and with more than 74,000 Keller Williams listings currently feeding into their real estate search engine, Keller Williams Realty is the only major player capitalizing on the search engine powerhouse.
That means, when online shoppers go to AOL to search for a home, they are bombarded with our Keller Williams listings, giving your listings yet another edge over other industry players.
Distributing your listings in the KWLS to AOL, and other search engine powerhouses including Trulia, GoogleBase, Cyberhomes, Homescape and more fits in with our overall strategy to drive quality traffic to your listings - you and your sellers benefit from the increased exposure to your properties.

Scott - I've linked it. I guess if you are trying to prove it's accuracy you may have to do the research yourself.
Charlie - Don't get me started on Big Canoe! It's like a Real Estate mafia up there.
Sam - Companies may have deals, but it's still not exclusive. It's just "ENHANCED." Not sure if that makes a SIGNIFICANT difference.
Prudential Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. (PREA), a subsidiary of Prudential Financial, Inc., operates a franchise network of nearly 2,000 residential real estate brokerage offices across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico and has over 64,000 sales professionals, making it one of the largest real estate brokerage franchise networks in North America. PREA's industry leading online strategy, powered in part by its exclusive relationship with Yahoo!, involves a proprietary national lead generation and management solution that facilitates and streamlines the real estate transaction process. PREA franchisees also offer to home sellers the exclusive Online Seller Advantage program that includes a unique Web ID and daily email updates of activity on and around their listed property.

This is what I'm going by. I think there are more ways to market a property than just what our brokers offer. I've had more results from RealEstateShows.com and by using Postlets.com to get my listings noticed than either the MLS or Prudential and Yahoo
Linda - we're not talking about banner advertising or cute pictures of agents by other agent's listings, we're talking about actual listing exposure.
If my listing shows up on your site, is it not exposed? If it helps me sell the home, I don't care who's site it ends up on.
Sam - I'm not really sure how the dynamic changes. Some agents who value AOL will do that, KW won't and if they did, there's plenty of places to go so I don't worry about it.
Furthermore, I'm not sure how that's any different than IDX type solutions. I mean, I can easily advertise your listings on my site. Granted AOL has more leverage than I do, but what's to stop me from asking for a referral. I don't think these search companies have any leverage at all, because the consumers want information. Limiting the information in regards to the homes will be shooting themselves in the foot, consumers will go wherever has the most information.
At the end of the day, people use my team for MY TEAM, not because of KW. Same with you and Linda and everyone else. People who buy into a "name" are fooling themselves. (of course, that's after they find me on the internet ... lol)
The real question is does Prudential agents actually pay to be the "showing" agent on my listings?
Joshua:
It sounds like Keller Williams did a great job dominating AOL.
I use yahoo for my email, they use me for "building their Real Estate site." EVERYONES HAPPY, most importantly, my CLIENTS are happy.
Josh, I love what your doing. Ive actually had Realtors in my market call the board on me because I am advertising their listings on many sites (Imagine if I were to tell their clients that their "agent" is taking their time out of their day to write up formal complaints of this! haha. Agents tend to think its about them instead of their clients, sad.). Even though I say "thanks to XYZ Realty for Listing Info provided, etc." The old-school way of thinking that most agents have is the problem. Ive heard many of my clients say "You are my FRIEND and you sell our home!"
I guess what Im saying is that these old school, small minded Realtors are actually shooting themselves in the foot. ADAPT. If an agent is working hard, let him. If hes not, then he have a new "job" in a short time. Stop hating.
PS- To Pru agents, are you PROUD that Yahoo has "teamed" up with you guys??? That has nothing to do with you as an individual. I admit, Keller Williams is a GREAT company with the BEST TRAINING in my opinion, but its ME (I give credit to the fact that Jesus Christ has blessed me and that actually the biggest creditor, but for the sake of this argument...) that sells the home. Meaning its ME who gives the most exposure of this home. You having some sort of "agreement" with Yahoo mean nothing. I bet your the same agent that tells potential sellers that "Prudential has an entire page in the paper on Sundays..." only to have them list with me because during my presentation, I show them stats on how its usuless to have your home in the paper....lol
Josh, I left you a messege on ur cell just now. Please give me a call when you get a chance. Thanks amn and keep up th egood work.
