Have You Heard of Qassia? SEO Backlink Builder and Ad Revenue Sharer?

Qassia was first spammed to me through Active Rain, so I thought it only appropriate to post a blog post on it.   Basically, it's an MLM concept with allowable backlinks to content, thus boosting SEO results and helping their Revenue Sharing.  So you can make money and boost your site at the same time.  Pretty nifty.  It's invite only and trust me you will get invites, but if the person wasn't honest with you up front about the MLM part of it, then you might want to sign up with me! (BOO! Adam!)  Check it Out http://jarvisteam.qassia.com  /

Joshua -

I've seen this site a few places now, but am just not sure about it.  When I clicked on your link I got an "unusual" picture - are you able to choose the photos?

Josh,

I'd be a little wary of link building this way.  It might be successful for a little while, but google has been cracking down on link building "schemes."  Just my 2 cents...I'm rather old school when it comes to SEO.

Penny - Yep, I put my big ole mug on it, .... going to change it again soon, but I wasn't a fan of the tummy either.

Jamie - It's no different than a DIGG site or anything like that in my mind.

Konnie - You repost your blog there and the Google Adword ads will generate the revenue for you.  The "MLM" portion of the site is to boost your rankings of your site, similiar to Active Rain.

I would not jeopardize my legitimate web business by going in on a link building scheme of any sort, MLM or otherwise. Link farms and most of these types of link builders work in the short term and then eventually the search engines catch on and there are severe penalties. Build the links legitmately (besides, Google doesn't place near the emphasis on shared links that it used to).

Ron - did you actually check it out?  It doesn't appear to be anything more than another blogging mechanism, not some scheme.  The content is their bait to the site, it just so happens, that they're also allowing reposting of articles.  I'm not going to turn my nose up at something that doesn't immediately sound like a bad idea.
