Although we started this networking group back in May of '08, we didn't begin in earnest until Jan of '09. Year to date I have had over 3 Million in referrals passed to me, with $1.5 Million currently listed. Now one might look at that and suggest it has something to do with the Chateau Elan location. Actually, no, most of the referrals have been first time home buyers or first time sellers.
The best referral so far has been from Jeff Powell of Professional Pool Service to list this beautiful home in Lawrenceville at 333 Brook Lea Cove, Lawrenceville GA.
The biggest "A HA" moment has been to learn to ask for what I want, then be ready to give myself completely to the other members in the group. Only by helping them, am I creating opportunities that fall into my lap. I just listed another great home at 3551 Bogan Mill Road, Buford GA 30519 courtesy of Cathy Larocco with Eagle Carpet Care.
I'm loving networking and enjoying the relationship being developed. I encourage anyone reading this to try going to a networking function with an open mind and a "how can I help YOUR business" attitude, and you will create a win-win scenario to hard to resist!
